Surface design and decoration is a big part of my practice and I would love to share some techniques in this workshop at my studio at The Chocolate Factory N16. 

This 2.5 hour workshop with a small and friendly group exploring pre-firing decorative techniques in clay. 

We will be working with predominantly coloured decorating slips to explore surface decoration techniques including monoprinting and stencilling.

I always encourage play and experimentation in my classes but always offer a clear introduction and as much or as little guidance as you wish! I will provide some visual imagery for inspiration but please bring along anything you are inspired by.

You are welcome to simply play and experiment or make pieces such as tiles, coasters or small plates. Your pieces will be fired and clear glazed for you to be collected within 3 weeks.

Book before 1 November for an earlybird price of £60, or £75 thereafter.

There will be a £5 firing charge per extra piece you would like to keep, payable by cash or card on the day.
